Swiss stone pine bowl KURT ART

Our Kurt Art bowl is probably the classic one among our bowls. It is the bowl that awoke Kurt's passion for turnery. 

He has studied its shape for a long time and has grown very fond of it. 

Hence the name Kurt Art. It is the bowl which started our project and is therefore definitely the classic model among all the bowls in our manufactory.

It is turned from a single piece of solid wood, like all our bowls, of course of premium Swiss stone pine from South Tyrol. 

Its shape makes it very elegant, timeless and very modern. 

The inclination goes from the inside slightly curved to the outside and the edge is very thinly flattened. 

The room bowls of course smell incredibly good and soothe the senses.

The Swiss stone pine - "Queen of the Alps"

The Swiss stone pine is rightly known by this nickname, because for thousands of years people have valued it for its outstanding properties.

The main occurrence of Swiss stone pine is in the Alpine region and it only grows from an altitude of 1,500 metres upwards. 

Due to its excellent adaptation to extreme conditions, the Swiss stone pine 

reach a stately age of up to 1,000 years.

The Swiss stone pine has always been valued for its distinctive healing properties.
